Mr. Gail Myer, VP of Operations for Myer Hotels, accepts the Best Western Director's Award at the Colorado Springs Best Western meeting

Branson, MO – The Best Western Music Capital Inn has been awarded two consecutive Best Western Director’s Awards, for Fall 2005 and Spring 2006. The Director’s Award is an honor designed to recognize those Best Western properties that epitomize the chain’s commitment to quality and is bestowed upon Best Western Hotels that have met established criteria, including a required inspection score, as part of a property assessment.

“Best Western Music Capital Inn has received nine previous Director’s Awards, which truly shows consistency in excellence,” observed Matt Behrend, General Manager of the hotel. “Best Western recently implemented stricter guidelines in their inspection so it has become increasingly difficult to obtain the required 950 or above out of 1,000 possible points to receive the Director’s Award.”

The inspection scores the Director’s Award are based on focus on three top guidelines: cleanliness, hotel appearance and overall guest satisfaction. On the most recent inspection, the Best Western Music Capital Inn Housekeeping Department received a perfect score in cleanliness. Other factors evaluated include amenities, overall functionality of the hotel and knowledge of staff members.

“As the recipient of 11 Director’s Awards, the Best Western Music Capital Inn has established itself as an exceptional hotel where guests can comfortably expect a satisfying stay with great service,” commented Gail Myer, VP of Operations for Myer Hotels.

The Best Western Music Capital Inn is directly across from the Shoji Tabuchi Theater, Branson’s most popular show, with several other theaters and restaurants within walking distance. The Best Western Music Capital Inn exudes the intimate and personal atmosphere of a small, boutique hotel while providing the amenities and benefits of a large hotel.
